Die cast rotors are among widely used components for induction motors. Testing them for their quality is essential. As slot to diameter ratio increases, the sources of errors increase. In large size rotors, if the location of the defect is identified, option of its repair or correction to manufacturing process is possible. Ferrites India Die Cast Rotor Tester covers all these special needs. It is computerized and easy to operate. It not only detects wide range of defects but quantifies them. The system design allows creation of test database for further use and analysis.

Specifications:

    • Testing of rotors, up to OD 800 mm, with or without shaft.
    • Option of testing of rotors throughout the core length by travel of sensor automatically during measurement.
    • Selection between Vertical or Horizontal mounting of rotors.
    • Capability of locating the faulty slot on the rotor.
    • Performs fast testing. Typical testing time is 15 seconds for one rotor once loaded.

Magnetic Field Profile Scanner

This equipment scans the given volume or magnetic surface, measures the surface flux density and plots the profile on computer screen.

Samples should be with smooth surface, square or circular and can be with or without shaft. The model utilizes contactless sensor and performs fast testing. Typical testing time can be as low as 15 seconds for one sample once loaded.

It is suitable for mass testing on production line. It is made rugged for this purpose.
